My name is Samantha Hostetler and welcome to my blog!

Public History and early American History are what I am studying, and Digital Humanities is my concentration.

I previously attended Arkansas State University, receiving my undergraduate degree in History with a certificate in Digital Humanities. 

Between the raging pandemic and uncertainty of the future, I decided to take a year off and gain some public history experience working at my states archive over the summer of 2021. Following the summer I packed up and moved to Virginia where I am now a Master’s student at George Mason University studying Public History and Digital Humanities.
